Marina Bay Sands is a hotel/resort built within three towers. It includes the world's most expensive casino, high end shopping, a museum, tho large theaters, seven restaurants by celebrity chefs, and other attractions. One such attraction is the SkyPark.
The SkyPark tops the resort's three 55-story towers and spans 1 hectare. The SkyPark includes the world's longest elevated swimming pool for residents of the hotel, with a 478 ft vanishing edge 191 meters above ground. It also includes restaurants, night clubs, and a lookout point for tourists. According to Wikipedia, special joints were built below the pools, designed to help them withstand the natural motion of the towers.
So, the elevator took us up 56 stories to the very top where we could walk along the SkyPark. Thankfully, we're not scared of heights.
Louis Vitton Store on the water!
The pool is shown in the picture below. Since we were not staying at the hotel, we weren't allowed to visit the pool. So, this is the best picture I could get! Mark has stayed here before and said the pool area and view are amazing.
