Week 5: Moving!

So I had other plans for my adventure this week until my 5 year old came down with a virus that kept her out of school for two days.  SO no cool adventure this week.  Oh well.  My blog.  My rules.  lol.

The "adventure" this week is now officially changed to "Our Move"!  That's certainly an adventure.  An entertaining one?  No.  An adventure of sorts?  Yes.

We originally wanted to live right in the middle of the city in a beautiful high-rise with an equally spectacular view.  But after considering the fact that we would have several very high balconies and we have a little boy who likes to climb....we backed out.  So on a whim, I asked our realtor to look in an area along the coast...and we found a place that is ground floor with ocean view and the kids can ride their scooters and bikes on the patio along the board walk of the marina.  Which, riding your bike outside your back door is very hard to come by in a big city... so we are thankful.

So Mark is out of town for three weeks to Indonesia, Japan and India.  And guess what I get to do?  Oh yes.  Unpack all of these boxes and weave through the abyss of suitcases.

But there is a silver lining.  We are going on vacation to Bali, Indonesia the week Mark gets back (and the kids' spring break)!  Can't come soon enough.

So consider these "Before" pictures.  ha.  Maybe in a year I will show you "After" pictures.
